Fifty-five seconds afterwards, roughly the time between one penalty and another. Note: It’s been quite a hectic month, so I’m very late posting this, it refers to the weeks between June 18th and July 1st. One very common pastime for locals here is to picnic on the grass, in the shade of the cherry blossoms, surrounded by the peaceful buzzing of bees and a light breeze. Naturally, we could not let such an occasion go to waste and our Japanese colleagues organised a picnic near our workplace, where we were finally able to mingle with people that normally we would simply see in the corridors of the laboratory and be unable to get to know better. We even played some catch with baseballs and some dodgeball before going back to work. As fun as this lunch break was, I kind of missed going to the university cafeteria, which should tell you something about how good it is. less- Translate
