Condenser Manufacturer Introduces The Classification Of Condensers

The air-conditioning refrigeration system consists of a compressor, a condenser (including Custom Condenser Coils ), an expansion valve, and an evaporator. Its working process is as follows: the refrigerant boils at the pressure-temperature, which is lower than the temperature of the object or fluid to be cooled. The compressor continuously sucks the vapor generated in the evaporator, compresses it to the condensing pressure, and then sends it to the condenser, where it is pressure-cooled and condensed into a liquid under pressure, and the heat released during the cooling and condensation of the refrigerant is transferred to the cooling For the medium (usually air used in computer room air conditioning), the condensation temperature corresponding to the condensation pressure must be higher than the temperature of the cooling medium, and the condensed liquid enters the evaporator through the expansion valve or other throttling elements.

During the whole cycle, the compressor plays a role in compressing and transporting the refrigerant vapor and causing the low pressure in the evaporator and the high pressure in the condenser, which is the heart of the whole system; the throttle valve acts as a throttling reduction for the refrigerant. Pressure acts on and regulates the flow of refrigerant entering the evaporator; the evaporator is a device that outputs cold energy, and the refrigerant absorbs the heat of the object being cooled in the evaporator to achieve the purpose of producing cold energy; the condenser is a device that outputs heat, The heat absorbed from the evaporator and the heat converted from the work consumed by the compressor are taken away by the cooling medium in the condenser.

According to the different types of cooling media, condensers can be classified into four categories, and their functions are as follows

⑴Water cooling type: In this type of condenser, the heat released by the refrigerant is taken away by the cooling water. The cooling water can be used once or recycled. Water-cooled condensers can be divided into vertical shell and tube type, horizontal shell and tube type and sleeve type according to their different structure types.

⑵ Air-cooled (also called air-cooled): In this type of condenser, the heat released by the refrigerant is taken away by the air. The air can be natural convection, or a fan can be used for the forced flow. This type of condenser is used in Freon refrigeration equipment in places where water supply is inconvenient or difficult.

(3) Water-air cooling type: In this type of condenser, the refrigerant is cooled by water and air at the same time, but it mainly relies on the evaporation of cooling water on the surface of the heat transfer tube to absorb a large amount of heat from the refrigerant side as water The latent heat of vaporization, the role of air is mainly to accelerate the evaporation of water and take away water vapor. Therefore, the water consumption of this type of condenser is very small, and it is the preferred type of condenser for areas with dry air, low water quality, low water temperature, and insufficient water volume. This type of condenser can be divided into two types: evaporative type and shower type.

⑷Evaporation-condensation type: In this type of condenser, the cold effect produced by the evaporation of the refrigerant in another refrigeration system is used to cool the refrigerant vapor on the other side of the heat transfer partition, and promote the latter to condense and liquefy. Such as the evaporator-condenser in the cascade refrigerator.

The Condenser Manufacturer reminds us that the condenser of the air conditioner plays a central role in the entire refrigeration process of the air conditioner. In the entire refrigeration system, the refrigerant in the condenser tube directly exchanges heat with the air outside the tube to achieve the effect of cooling air.
