Exports of Parboiled Idli Rice Take a Huge Hit

According to reports, since last month, about 1,000 tonnes of parboiled rice, which is needed to manufacture idlis, have been stuck in Tamil Nadu's ports as a result of a Central Government decision that imposed a 20% levy on raw rice exports and prohibited the export of broken rice.
