Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh, a tiny hill station which is known for its colonial architecture and the beauty of nature. These are the five must-visit Sightseeing Places in Shimla:

The Ridge: Located right in the center of Shimla, it is a vast open space that offers panoramic mountain views. It also acts as the cultural center of Shimla where several events happen through out the year.

Mall Road: The primary road of Shimla with numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. Just stroll down this road and buy some local handicrafts.

Jakhoo Temple: On Jakhoo Hill, an old temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman situated in Shimla there are stunning perspectives on encompassing scenes from here. The highest point in Shimla.

Christ Church: This church is one of the oldest churches in Northern India designed as neo-Gothic structure. It’s covered beautifully by stained glasses and has historical significance among other places that should be checked out by tourists.

Kufri: Situated slightly far away from Shimla, it’s a small hill station famous for scenic beauties and various adventure sports like skiing and tobogganing during winter season. Approximately 16 km from shimla it provides beautiful sights with cool climate conditions.
