This may be the wedding of the hospital pharmacist and reception teacher who wed on 24 July 2021 at, Froggatt, Peak District. The ceremony occurred outside having a reception inside a sailcloth tent and was the entire day was planned to become a big, loud, fun-filled, fusion wedding that combined the very best bits of the bride-to-be and the groom's cultures and upbringings.

"We wanted the autonomy to select all in our suppliers and also to party before the early hours. Organizing from scratch was challenging but ultimately it meant that we were able to choose all of the bits which were most important to us both and our families."

Priya wore an attractive, pure white gown, having a simple, plunging bodice along with a many-layered skirt with delicate floral embroidery.

"I originally booked a scheduled appointment with them because I knew they carried an outfit that I'd tried on previously and thought was the main one. Somehow, the wonderful Meg got me to try an outfit nothing like I'd imagined that I fell deeply in love with. Ultimately it had been perfect since it made me feel amazing and it had been comfortable enough to bop around in until 2 am." Go

Priya and Stu met online in 2015 and were engaged four years later. As Priya has mentioned, these were a 'Covid couple' coupled with postponing their original July 2020 date.

"Stu planned a visit away to York. where we'd been for the first trip away together, and proposed through the river following a lovely meal at Skosh. We celebrated with tequila after which spent a euphoric day sharing our news with all of our family and friends."

"We got married outside and our reception was inside a marquee having a number from the sides open for ventilation. We also asked our guests to consider a Covid test the morning from the wedding and that we had hand sanitizer everywhere."

The bridesmaids wore blush bridesmaid dresses.

"I wanted everyone to feel at ease in what you wore. That was a lot more important than all of them being within the same dress."

Priya walked on the outdoor aisle arm in arm with both her mum and her dad.

"It was special in my experience that they both accompanied me. We used Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling In Love' as my entrance song. We wanted your day to incorporate all the very best bits about each of our cultures and achieving a humanist ceremony allowed us to get this done."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Try and revel in being engaged and planning your entire day as much as possible. Decide in the early stages what the most significant parts of your day are for you – the ones that you are not ready to compromise on. Try and put around your suppliers that you interact with. We have a lot of love for everyone mentioned here."
