Saimone Lausii Kala, 29, and Oueni Pomana, 47, were found guilty of unlawfully killing 45 year old Nathan Haynes outside the Purple Pub at the Newman Hotel in the state Pilbara region in August 2016.Kala punched Mr Haynes then Pomana kicked the victim as he lay unconscious or dazed, the WA Supreme Court heard on Monday.Justice Bruno Fiannaca said their violence had short the life of a good man and caused suffering to his family.Pomana was sentenced to nine years in prison, while Kala was sentenced to seven and a half years behind bars.Mr Haynes stepmother told reporters the family believed the terms were fair.
