The number of injections required for IVF treatment process can vary depending on individual circumstances and the specific protocol recommended by the fertility specialist. However, on average, a typical IVF cycle involves approximately 8-12 injections over a period of 10-12 days. These injections are usually administered subcutaneously (under the skin) and are designed to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs.

The specific medications used in IVF treatment can include:

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists or antagonists: These injections help prevent premature ovulation by suppressing the natural hormone fluctuations of the menstrual cycle.

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) analogs: These injections stimulate the development of multiple follicles (fluid-filled sacs containing eggs) in the ovaries.

Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG): This hormone injection triggers the final maturation of the eggs within the follicles and prepares them for retrieval.

It's important to note that the exact dosage and duration of medication can vary based on individual factors and the specific treatment protocol recommended by the fertility specialist. The injections are typically self-administered at home or under the guidance of a healthcare professional. The fertility clinic will provide detailed instructions on how to properly administer the injections.

The IVF Treatment in Delhi procedure includes gonadotropin injections to stimulate the ovaries. Recent research has revealed that the time of day does not affect the delivery rate of stimulation injections, and there is no difference between taking them in the morning and evening. A clinical trial found a difference in hormone levels of peak estradiol or progesterone, endometrial thickness, number of mature oocytes, fertilisation stage, or blastocysts when gonadotropins were supplied in the AM (morning) and PM (evening) groups. There was no difference in the amount of gonadotropins employed in the treatment or in the beginning or baseline vitamin D levels.
