decorative printer paper is made of water-based resin, pigment, solvent and auxiliary through compound processing and grinding. The water-solubility mainly plays the role of the binder, which makes the pigment particles evenly dispersed, so that the ink has a certain fluidity, and the generated adhesion force makes the ink form a uniform film layer after printing.
Matters needing attention before using water-based ink
1. Water-based ink cannot be mixed with solvent-based ink, or benzene and ester organic solvents can be added to the water-based ink.
2. Water-based ink should be stored indoors at a temperature of 5-40 degrees to avoid direct sunlight.
3. Due to the evaporation of water during the printing process, the viscosity will increase and the PH value will decrease. The PH stabilizer should be between 8-9.5.
4. Due to the complexity and diversity of the current printing substrates, before selecting a certain ink for mass production, the production needs to do a strict pre-production test.
5. The ink will be gelled when stored for a long time, and it needs to be fully stirred during use.
6. After the ink is distributed, it needs to be left to defoaming before use, otherwise the ink layer will have bubbles or pinholes.
7. Static electricity on the screen or printed surface will cause pinholes in the printing ink layer.
8. When printing is stopped for a short time, it should be covered with a layer of ink, otherwise it will easily lead to blockage.
9. Rinse kraft paper for sublimation with water immediately after printing, otherwise it will be easy to block the screen after drying. You can increase the thickness of the screen to reduce oil blocking.
