• Over the past few months, the continuous outbreak of coronaviruses around the world has caused serious problems in production around the world, which has affected the gaming industry. In order to ensure the safety of developers' lives, Blizzard's game studio also launched a remote work plan. During a post-earnings financial call today, company executives said that this move posed a daunting challenge to the company's next plan, and many of the planned work could not be completed on time. This means that Blizzard will not be able to provide players with enough new works and new content this year, but at the same time Blizzard is confident in the next Call of Duty game and World of Warcraft Shadowlands expansion, they said that these two works will come out this year.

Since most previous WoW expansions have found its way to July or August, we expected it showing up during the summer time as well, but Brack said inside the call that it'll be out nearer to the end of the entire year.

Either of which could be one with the two "library IP" games Alegre referenced, but that will be a tremendous undersell—I can't imagine Blizzard would give the opportunity to mention them by name when it was in a posture to do so.
