  • Description : In light of the recent and ongoing protests calling for racial justice and police reform, Blizzard has pushed back its scheduled reveal event for the next World of Warcraft expansion, Shadowlands. The event, originally scheduled for the 9th of June, is now rescheduled for a date to be announced.

Overview

  • The event first took place in 2006, and opened WOTLK Gold Raids inside the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj and the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj. The event also included elite quest chains , as well as the long war sequence. The gates were permanently opened with a subsequent update in 2009, but then the quests were shut down in the Cataclysm expansion.

World of Warcraft Classic is separate from the game. It's a separate and ongoing World of Warcraft game, giving players the chance to experience (or re-experience) the MMO in the way it used to be. This means that a lot of the streamlining and quality-of-life changes introduced in later updates are not present and it's not as complex in other aspects. We enjoyed it as a fun nostalgia that's more than just nostalgia.

World of Warcraft : Shadowlands Release Event Rescheduled due To Protests

In light of the recent and ongoing protests calling for racial justice and police reform, Blizzard has pushed back its scheduled reveal event for the next World of Warcraft expansion, Shadowlands. The event, originally scheduled for the 9th of June, is now rescheduled for a date to be announced.

The event will still be presented by the executive producer John Hight and game director Ion Hazzikostas, and it will reveal the first details about what's going to buy WOTLK Classic Gold be revealed in the new expansion. We know for certain that Shadowlands will take players to the world of the dead, and could bring some significant shifts in the story after Battle of Azeroth. It will also reduce the cap on leveling to 60, as opposed to many expansions that have raised the level cap.
