Overview

• There are three different ways to set up a Linksys extender, but only one of them requires a login to the extender. This technique uses the WPS protocol and just requires you to use and press the extender's and router's WPS buttons. However, you must have a compatible WPS button on the router in order to carry out this procedure, so double-check this first. Pick this approach first if there is a button on the router.
