WellHeater is an innovative, Norwegian-made downhole electric heating system designed specifically for oil and gas wells to prevent and remove hydrate and wax blockages deep in the wellbore, without the need for risky interventions like coiled tubing or wireline operations.Unlike traditional methods that rely on chemicals, hot oil circulation, or mechanical removal, WellHeater uses a compact, high-power electric heating cable (typically 200–400 kW) that is permanently or semi-permanently installed inside the production tubing, often clamped to the outside of a completion string or run as a removable “heating stinger.”
