I'm in the process of building a new workstation, and I'm stuck on a crucial choice: selecting the right case size. Should I go for an ATX, Micro-ATX, or Mini-ITX case? I'd love to hear your thoughts and recommendations!
Here's a little background: I use my workstation for a mix of tasks, including content creation, 3D rendering, and occasional gaming. I want a case that not only accommodates my current components but also leaves room for potential future upgrades.
I know that ATX cases are more spacious and offer excellent airflow, making them ideal for high-end systems. Micro-ATX seems to strike a balance between size and expandability, but I'm concerned about its cooling capabilities. Mini-ITX, on the other hand, is compact and portable, but can it handle the demands of a workstation?
What are your experiences with these case sizes? Are there any specific models you would recommend? I'm especially interested in cases that offer good cable management options and room for multiple storage drives.
Please share your thoughts, tips, and any case recommendations that you think would be a great fit for my workstation. Your input will be invaluable in helping me make the right choice.
Thanks in advance
