Our glass cooktop, which is probably 30 years old, has long had a tiny chip about 2” from a corner. Just now DH noticed that the chip is now crack about 3” long, going diagonally to the other side of the corner. The good news is, it can’t get longer. The bad news is, well, what
is the bad news? Is it worth having repaired? Is disaster impending? Is it a good excuse to get induction, even before our kitchen remodel which we have not even begun to plan and set a budget for?
