The same is true for the self-adhesive sticker(PRINT-LABELS). So how to check the self-adhesive sticker materials?
1. Check whether the self-adhesive sticker has burrs
The smooth and undamaged edge of the self-adhesive sticker material is the basis for ensuring the printing quality of the self-adhesive sticker. Therefore, before printing, it is necessary to carefully check whether the cut edge of the self-adhesive sticker material has burrs and is damaged due to improper storage and transportation. The self-adhesive sticker material shall be rolled down for 4-5 turns and its cut edge shall be carefully checked.
2. Check whether there is crack on the self-adhesive sticker material
When cutting the self-adhesive sticker material, if the cutting tool is not properly adjusted or the blade is not sharp enough, cracks will appear on the surface paper or bottom paper of the self-adhesive sticker material, and the fibres pulled out at the cracks will be stuck by the adhesive. The occurrence of cracks may be continuous or random and may occur on one side or both sides of the self-adhesive sticker material. Therefore, before printing the self-adhesive sticker material on the computer, it is not possible to carefully check whether there are any small cracks on the base paper and the face paper.
Then, take a section of sample paper that has passed the above-mentioned inspection, peel it off the base paper and check again whether there are cracks on the top paper and the base paper because cracks are sometimes very small and can only be found after separating the base paper and the base paper. It is worth noting that since ink and adhesive will gradually accumulate on the paper guide roller of the printer during printing, cracks will also occur on the edge of the self-adhesive sticker material. Therefore, even if printing has already started, the above problems cannot be ignored.
