I'm thinking about upgrading my monitor to a 32 4k monitor display for gaming. It seems like the new hotness, but I'm not sure if it's the right move for me. Anyone out there rocking a 32" 4K setup for gaming? What are your thoughts?
Is the jump in sharpness from 1440p really that noticeable? Can my PC even handle 4K gaming at decent frame rates? Sitting at a desk, is 32 inches big enough to truly appreciate the extra resolution, or will I be craning my neck all day?
Let's hear your experiences, good or bad!
Here are some specific questions I have:
Does 4K gaming feel smoother than 1440p, even if the frame rate is the same?
Are there any downsides to a 32" 4K monitor for gaming, besides the cost? Eye strain maybe?
How important are high refresh rates (like 144Hz) on a 4K monitor?
Thanks in advance for the advice!
