I think this passport OCR API https://ocrstudio.ai/id-scanner/ I tested it recently, it seems to work stably and produces data quite accurately, which is important if you need to automate the process. There were no problems with the Cyrillic alphabet either, which is rare. Perhaps this is what you need for your project.

Recently came across several passport recognition APIs, but the one I'm using now was the most accurate. Handles Cyrillic and Latin well, and integration was easy. I recommend checking it out if you need stable performance
