If you decide to go with a regular shampoo - sulfate-free and mild shampoos are a must, as the usage of chemicals can damage the lace front wig & may not be suitable for both the synthetic & human wig fibres and deteriorate them respectively. In this article, you are shown easy wash steps.
- Untangle First: Start detangling your wig gently with a wig brush or wide-tooth comb, beginning at the ends and working your way up to avoid pulling on the lace.
- Prepare A Cool Water Bath: Fill your sink or a bowl with cool water. Hot water can mishandling fibers of wigs, leaving them streaked and damaged, particularly if they are synthetic.
- Shampoo Mixture: Add some amount of wig or, as preferred, sulfate-free shampoo in water and stir the water gently. This will be gentle as opposed to direct application of shampoo.
- Rinse With Cool Water: Pull out your wig from the shampoo water and rinse your wig under a cool tap until all the shampoo is removed.
