  • Aaron Rodgers to the Giants is not as crazy as it seems when you first say it out loud.To buy more Green Bay Packers Jersey with cheap price, you can visit packernfl.com official website.

In fact, the idea of the reigning NFL MVP being traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Giants in a spring or summer blockbuster before training camp shouldn’t be ruled out.Instant contender status: At 6-10, the Giants nearly won the worst division in pro football last year. But that return to contender status (if that’s what we’re calling it) was due almost totally to a defense that turned the corner under defensive coordinator Patrick Graham. The offense struggled, barely able to move the ball in December. Rodgers would change everything, and make the Giants a legitimate NFC contender overnight.

The best quarterback to ever wear the uniform: This shouldn’t be overlooked. Phil Simms was a champion. Eli Manning had the longest, and most durable and decorated career. Y.A. Tittle is still remembered for a reason. Heck, even Kurt Warner wore the blue and red for a short time. But Rodgers is a top-10 quarterback in league history, and would be the best to ever wear the jersey the minute he put it on.

Window could stay open for a while: Yes, Rodgers is 37 years old. Yes, that’s old by old-school football standards. But times have changed, and Rodgers looks poised to be the next quarterback with the ability to play at a high level well into his 40s. Peyton Manning went to Denver before his age-36 season. In four years as a Broncos, the all-time great went 45-12, made two first-team All-Pro teams, appeared in two Super Bowls and won one. Why can’t Rodgers have a similar second act?

Gettleman’s lasting legacy: Dave Gettleman’s ride as Giants general manager has been, well, bumpy. He’s not close to universally approved by fans, and many think he’s stagnated the franchise and botched a rebuild. Well how about securing one of the greatest quarterbacks in league history before leaving?

Gigantic offer: No pun intended! New York’s projected offer is big, and may not be topped by any team this summer. The Packers secure enough capital to properly rebuild the roster or continue adding on to a NFC juggernaut if 2021 turns out to still be a winning season thanks to organizational depth and Matt LaFleur’s system. Sure, a move to the AFC (Denver? Las Vegas?) may be more palatable, but the Packers can’t be afraid of Rodgers in the conference. They must take the best deal.

Jones provides protection vs. Jordan Love totally flopping: Does Jones, the former sixth overall pick, have value in a deal like this? Perhaps more than you think. Green Bay reportedly could insist on a quarterback back in the deal to hedge against the chance of Love flopping and not being ready this summer. Las Vegas’ Derek Carr stands out as a possible big chip, but Jones’ experience as a starter and cheap cap number makes him interesting. If Green Bay’s coaches like him, maybe throwing him in along with a treasure trove of draft picks tips the scales.
