The fantasy football season is heating up now that we’re past the midway point. With the fantasy playoffs not too far away
http://www.cincinnatibengalsteamonline.com/germaine-pratt-jersey , here’s a look at the waiver wire moves you need to make heading into Week 8. AddsBills RB Chris IvoryThe Bills are a mess, but Chris Ivory has quietly been fantasy relevant among this disaster. That continued in Sunday’s blowout loss to the Colts, where Ivory managed to run for 81 yards on 16 carries and catch three passes for 25 yards. That came in part due to LeSean McCoy getting injured. If he’s out for an extended amount of time, Ivory becomes the hottest pickup this week. Since the Bills are so bad, they’ll probably play it safe with McCoy and let Ivory run the show for a bit, so he’s still a good pickup this week. Cowboys WR Michael GallupIt’s been a tough rookie season for Michael Gallup so far, but he’s finally starting to develop chemistry for Dak Prescott in an offense devoid of pass catches. Against Washington, Gallup hauled in three grabs for 81 yards and a touchdown on five targets. He’s worth taking a flyer on if you badly need receiver help. Patriots RB Kenjon BarnerThe Patriots lost Sony Michel to a potentially serious knee injury vs. the Bears, which led to Kenjon Barner coming off the bench to run for 36 yards on 10 carries vs. a stout Chicago defense. With Rex Burkhead and Jeremy Hill already on IR
Joe Mixon Jersey Limited , Barner is suddenly a very viable fantasy option in New England, so snag him off waivers this week. Dolphins WR Danny Amendola It was clear Danny Amendola wasn’t going to stay fantasy relevant with Ryan Tannehill running the show. But now that Brock Osweiler is running the show, he’s focusing heavy on Amendola, who has 14 catches for 143 yards and a score over the last two games. As long as Osweiler is under center, it appears Amendola will remain fantasy relevant. Raiders RB Jalen RichardWith Marshawn Lynch out for the foreseeable future, there’s going to be a Raiders running back to pick up off waivers this week. But while Doug Martin is the technically the No. 2 back, it’s been Jalen Richard who’s performed well, even when Lynch was healthy. Richard already has 31 catches this season, including 13 for 101 yards over his last two games. He’s a must-add in PPR leagues. DropsBucs TE Cameron BrateAs time goes on
A.J. Green Jersey , OJ Howard continues to take a stronger hold on the No. 1 tight end spot in Tampa Bay, while Cameron Brate is getting phased out. The veteran tight end has just 10 catches this season. Granted, he did catch a touchdown in three straight games, but after getting just three grabs for 23 yards and no scores against the Browns, it’s time to move on. Jaguars WR Dede WestbrookWhether it’s Blake Bortles (ugh) or Cody Kessler (yuck) quarterbacking, Dede Westbrook can’t stay involved in the Jaguars offense. Westbrook caught just four passes for 17 yards in a loss to the Texans on Sunday. He now has three straight games of under 60 yards receiving. He’s safe to drop this week. Raiders RB Marshawn LynchThis one hurts, as Marshawn Lynch is 32 years old and is probably on his last legs in terms of fantasy relevance. But despite his old age, Lynch was still a viable contributor for fantasy owners in 2018. That is, until he went down with a groin injury that could ultimately land him on injured reserve. And with the Raiders well out of the playoff race
Cheap Andrew Billings Jersey , they probably will trend toward other backs even if Lynch somehow returns, so it’s safe to drop him in all leagues. CINCINNATI (AP) — A.J. Green took a couple of steps, tried to cut and crumbled to the ground, grabbing his right foot. He was carted off the field, along with the Bengals‘ hopes of a late-season recovery. They keep unraveling a little more each week.Rookie Phillip Lindsay rushed for a career-high 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns Sunday as Denver adapted to a windy afternoon and got its third straight victory, 24-10 over the Bengals. After a 4-1 start, Cincinnati (5-7) has dropped six of seven with a historically bad defense and a series of injuries that depleted the roster. Not even a change in defensive coordinator has made much of a dent.“I just want to see us challenge ourselves to turn it around before the end of the season,” cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick said. “That’s the only thing I can say right now.”The Bengals are imploding in coach Marvin Lewis’ 16th season. He fired defensive coordinator Teryl Austin and assumed the job of running the defense, but they’re 0-3 under that arrangement. The Broncos (6-6) rushed for 218 yards
Andy Dalton Jersey Limited , the third time in the past four games that Cincinnati has given up 200 yards on the ground. The Bengals have allowed four teams to run for 200 yards this season, and Kansas City had 198 yards on the ground.“I’m disappointed with our football game today like that,” Lewis said. With the Bengals on course for a third straight season missing out on the playoffs, fans are giving up. The crowd of 44,392 on Sunday was the smallest at Paul Brown Stadium since 2011.Fans in the upper deck tape a large banner to the front of a seating section before each game. On Sunday, they taped up a blank banner — nothing left to say about this season.Quarterback Andy Dalton tore a ligament in the thumb on his passing hand a week earlier, ending his season. Jeff Driskel made his first NFL start on Sunday and had Green back after he missed three games with an injured toe on his right foot.Green had only one catch before reinjuring the foot, most likely ending his season.“He was obviously battling just to play,” Bengals receiver Alex Erickson said. “I’m sure it’s devastating to him and to the team.”Driskel finished 25 of 38 for 236 yards with a touchdown
Boomer Esiason Jersey , an interception , a fumble and four sacks.“Not good enough,” Driskel summed up.The line also was in flux and struggled to adapt.Left tackle Cordy Glenn missed a second straight game with a bad back. Guard Clint Boling started at left tackle, and Trey Hopkins started at guard. The line got three penalties for holding, two for false starts and one for an illegal block.Cincinnati was penalized eight times in the first half, its most in an opening half since 2009. The Bengals finished with 12 penalties for 100 yards.“There are no excuses,” right tackle Bobby Hart said. “No matter who’s in there or what’s going on, it’s your job to get things done.”
