According to Schefter, an MRI revealed that Ansah did not suffer a significant injury and the Lions are “hopeful he can play” against the 49ers this weekend. In Ansah’s place, the Lions mostly played Kerry Hyder against the Jets, but that limited his ability to also play on the inside in some packages.
