If you are under the impression that solar energy
Backyard Revolution Review is expensive to install in your home, then you are about to learn something new. Having just spent $600 on all the components to build solar panels for my home, I now have a system that would have cost me in the region of $2400. The biggest surprise was that it was really easy to complete and I had the next door neighbours teenager across to help out so that he could use the information for his school project. In the end, he built his own panel too. The biggest hurdle for many people wanting to install solar energy devices into their homes is the cost.
Once you have established that the cost can be dramatically reduced by building your own, the next hurdle is not knowing if they would be able to build such a device. The entire building process is extremely simple requiring only one specialised skill and that is to solder. As my wife likes to make stain glass windows, we had a soldering kit at home, which you will need to have in order to complete this project, but that is the only specialised skill and bit of equipment required. Having completed my double solar panel, which we built to the roof size and customized to our own specific needs, we completed the installation according to the instructions.
The last step of the process is to have the utility company come to our home to check the system so that we can start to take advantage of Net metering, which is the term for running our electricity meter backwards. We have also filled out the forms that were included in the instruction manual to take advantage of the government tax rebate that is on offer and have contacted our local council about a local incentive program that is also on offer. Solar energy is not expensive if you are prepared to do a little diy project. The online instruction manuals are easy to understand and give you all the information you need to get the job done. Going green could not be easier or cheaper.
