I understand Nintendo have said that they will be releasing upgrades for two years or so, but honestly that is too slow for many players.At this point I am starting to believe they intentionally uttered content so that they could add it afterwards. How else would they know that they have"two years" value of content to include?
  
  Oh yeah, that's definitely the case. And it is annoying many players since the material they're withholding was available in previous games and principles of their franchise (it sounds strange to make us wait 1-2 years for Brewster, by way of instance ). They obviously want to milk this game for as long as they can (even more so now that it has turned into a massive success as a result of Covid).
  
  Exactly! We haven't even gotten any actual new content besides... pumpkins? Every upgrade so far has only been adding things from previous matches. While it's wonderful to have upgrades to pull me back into the game it'd be even nicer to add new...    less
