To prevent overheating of the motor and gears, proper ventilation should be provided.
  
  If the escalator is the primary means of transportation between floors, a traditional staircase can be located near it. An elevator near an escalator is also ideal for accommodating wheelchairs and people with disabilities.
  
  Two types of companies supply escalators. Primary Elevator Manufacturer build the equipment, while secondary suppliers design and install the equipment. In most cases, the secondary suppliers receive the equipment from the manufacturer and make the necessary changes.
