Blizzard says Diablo 2 Resurrected will take advantage of PS5 DualSense features like haptic feedback.
Although the developers did not delve much into
Diablo 2 Items particulars, Gallerani all but supported haptic feedback for the coming Diablo 2 remaster.
"We are still working on how we want to use [the DualSense], however, the haptic feedback on the controller is a really exciting thing, so we would like to make sure we use that," Gallerani said.
The DualSense's haptic feedback feature is basically an innovative rumble package designed to increase immersion by imitating the feeling and effects of different surfaces and items. By way of example, walking through sand in a match ought to feel gritty, while shooting off shotgun rounds should send spaced-out pulses to your hands.
Gallerani also detailed a few of the ways Diablo 2 Resurrected is tuned for controller support more commonly, confirming the remaster will include a cursor function for gamepads.
"In the original game, the Sorceress' teleport operates by clicking wherever you want. Wherever you click, then that is where you're teleporting to. When you're using the controller, you do not have a cursor, so when you teleport with
Cheap Diablo 2 Resurrected Items the Sorceress we have a default distance for the teleport - some of the motions we do that. By way of example, a Blood Golem from a Necromancer will constantly spawn where you would like it to. Whereas some motions we actually allow you to hold a button down, and you then receive a cursor."
