Taking a look at the actual world

  • December 15, 2020
Taking a look at the actual world, a subject that was brought up a long time ago, and RuneScape, I had a great idea. (imagine fantasy reenactment from Windows 7 advertisements ) What would happen if I invested in an item, and OSRS gold utilized inflation to gain profit? In the actual world, the government must invest in the economy to keep it moving, if only a couple million dollars here and there. In Sals clan talk quite a long time ago, somebody brought up the question about where everyone gets their cash. Individuals gave the obvious response, monster drops, but it's quite unlikely that each of the money comes from monster drops.

Half the time, I don't even select UP the cash! I had been considering it, and the only sensible conclusion was that Jagex inserts cash into the market, through general shops, specialty shops, pking drops, monster drops, and perhaps even the GE. My idea, or rather, my prospective idea is that: What if I bought millions or tens of thousands of a product, and then held onto it for 3 decades? Can I gain cash from the pure inflation of the economy? Can there be inflation in RuneScape (I am pretty sure there is)? Please help and thanks ahead of time.

The reply to your question yes you will earn money, although it may not be significant. This relies on the nature of supply side economics. In Runescape, the vast majority of a product's cost is based on offer. The more of an item that's present in the game, the lower the cost will go. So as more people achieve high levels to do difficult bosses, skilling activities, etc, these expensive items will become more common within the sport. However, for rares exactly the same effect will work in an opposite manner. Considering that the supply of those items is quite low, they will simply continue to grow. The concept of inflation in Runescape is hard to explain.

Because in real-life wealth rarely'disappears' as it will in Runescape (with people quitting, dieing etc). However, the speed of wealth introduced to the match is higher than the wealth taken out so there'll still be RS07 Gold inflation. As to your idea of Jagex entering cash into the sport, there could be some truth to it.
