I believe two of the reasons I enjoy it is since the questing is like no other match - that the quests in Runescape are not straightforward kill and fetch quests. You go on adventures and interesting/humorous stories. Second because the progression is very nice - because it is such a grind to get to high degrees your time spent to the game actually means something, and the game is quite cautious about devaluing elderly content. There is content for all levels of skill. There is things that a toddler could do, and things (as of last October) just 1,189 people in the world who perform OSRS has done (Inferno Cape)
Also PVP is definitely NOT using one ability till you kill somebody, in fact the reason I do not
runescape gold 2007 pvp is because in the maximum level there's so much micro management and a very big skill gap between beginners and people at the top - there is a reason there were multiple 20,000 prize pools for PVP tournaments (look up Deadman Mode).
