  Runescape publisher Jagex's publishing arm has picked up an exciting independent game under Jagex Partners. Jagex Partners brand, making Melvor Idle an indie now. The idler-style game, similar to RS Gold games such as Clicker Heroes or Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, was released on Steam this year, and carries its influence from Jagex's flagship Runescape with pride.
  
  Melvor Idle is a detailed multi-track idle game which seeks to reimagine "the core components in the RuneScape franchise in a manner that they could be enjoyed with ease," says the publisher. It's an extremely high-quality idle game with a variety of items to develop and advance, aswell being a focus on avoiding high-end mechanics that require a restart.
  
  Jagex has been rumored to have discovered the project in early 2020. It is believed that a significant portion of the company's employees loved it even before the official Steam launch in the month of October the same year.
