There were games such as World of Warcraft or Guild Wars which let you chat and hunt with people from all over, and all you required was an internet connection to do it. My personal fantastical substance of choice was OSRS Gold it was a game that involved me and my brother banding together to fight the Corporeal Beast and to learn how to cook the most delicious monkfish as well as play a few rounds Gnome Ball.

When we came home from school and getting on our shared computer and then our own, but leaving our bedroom doors open to shout out strategies and beg for gold one of the best experiences I remember having as a kid.

I've periodically checked in with RuneScape over the years to ensure that my account from 2005 was still in good shape. It wasn't until two months ago, when I received a phone call from a good friend from my Gamer Squad*, that read, "I want to play runescape" which I began on my path to Gielinor.

Just like any good MMO The goal of RuneScape will vary between players. Maybe you want to complete each one of the more than 200 quests to achieve Legendary Hero status. Perhaps you'd like to master one of the 28 skills to earn the famous Skill Mastery cape. Maybe you'd like to make billions of flipping items at Grand Exchanges.

You could become an asshole and kill questing players out in the wilderness also. This is not even mentioning the mini-games and world events, battles, holidays, and duels. Of course, the game is massive. It's apparent Jagex hasn't been slow in the process of updating Gielinor. There's plenty of new shit, the latest being RuneScape Mobile, which launches on June 17.

It was quite overwhelming to return to RuneScape's Grand Exchange and see people dressed in armor and wielding swords that looked like they could unleash god-killing force to shatter my high-gloss dragon's armor, and the abyssal whip (that'd be pretty impressive if you played it back in my days children).

The menus also differed and the menus were different, but it turned out the friendly folks at Jagex provided a wide range of support for old players which included a traditional menu mode. In another nod towards old players, I thrilled to find out that when I visited Lumbridge and spoke with Hans the legendary NPC from the start, I could be rewarded with an oblong, five-, 10- an 15-year-old veteran's cape. The 15-year cape is something to behold, it's got fire burning down the bottom with Cheap RS Gold.

When I was overwhelmed, I chose to make a permanent aim of mine: master firemaking. Mastering the art of firemaking takes long hours of repeated movements to attain the level 99 (now more than 120 points in few skills) The process earns you a cape worthy of the title of a master. This cape is trimmed. It's bright.
