According to
wow tbc gold Street, "We've been trying to get players involved increasingly through the quest journal since the quest journal is World of Warcraft 's] only method of demonstrating the bosses' work is using animations and graphics. Certain boss encounters are still sort of make you feel like you're required to go through several times before you can figure them out."
The creator said that the journal of encounters will provide a brief description of each boss's main powers and how attack on each power functions and if these powers are disrupted through player actions. Additionally, it will include the type of loot each boss will be able to drop after defeat. Street noted that the encounter journals will not even determine which adventures parties are the best to fight who bosses or what position every player needs to stand when fighting. They should, however, give players a chance to win to take on a boss the very first time.
The designer also pointed out that Blizzard has plans to retroactively add other World of Warcraft bosses to the encounter journal...eventually. "We have said that we aren't willing to commit to the project unless we knew it could be expanded to include all of World of Warcraft 's] bosses. We're going start with Cataclysm, and go back to the beginning from where we are. Cataclysm contains between 60 and 70 bosses. However, there are about a hundred bosses in the whole game."
This 4.2 version will add an entirely new zone, called"the daily quest hub which will include new content to players who don't want to commit their whole time exploring raid content in large numbers of players. "We know that not all players are hunter, but we'd like to allow players to feel that they are able to hit the road and deliver an attack against the elementals of fire.
To achieve this it's possible to envision two massive rock islands floating over the Firelands. One is the dungeon for raids featuring Ragnaros and the other one is the hub for
