The billboards depict the referees doing a "hands to the face" call while wearing a giant cheesehead, indicating they were Packers fans.

According to some reports, there are at least seven billboards around the metro Detroit area. The billboards are expected to run until the end of the week.
The Lions lost a heartbreaker Monday against the Packers, with the NFL later admitting its late Phil Rizzuto Jersey fourth-quarter call on Trey Flowers for hands to the face shouldn't have been a foul. It cost the Lions 15 yards and resulted in the Packers getting a field goal to win the game, 23-22.
