¿Cómo funcionan los extintores CO2?
Los extintores de CO2 funcionan mediante la liberación de dióxido de carbono (CO2) en forma de gas. Este gas es inerte, es decir, no reacciona con otros elementos y desplaza el oxígeno del aire, sofocando así el fuego.
¿Cómo? Al activar el extintor, el CO2 se expulsa a gran velocidad, enfriando rápidamente el fuego y eliminando el oxígeno necesario para su propagación.
