Earlier, if a person wanted to apply for a job, pay utility bills, or check their scholarship status, they had to create different accounts on different portals. It was time-consuming, confusing, and not user-friendly.
To fix this, the Rajasthan government brought all major services under one digital umbrella called SSO – Single Sign-On. Now, citizens just need one ID and one password to access over 100+ government services online. Whether it’s applying for a government job, getting an income certificate, checking land records, or accessing educational tools—SSO ID makes it all possible from one login.
The main idea behind launching the SSO portal was to:
Save people’s time.
Reduce paperwork.
Make digital services available even in remote villages.
Ensure transparency and efficiency.
