DIC IDEAL and DIC ANZ Emphasizes Safety Culture & Employee Engagement


March was a month of recognition, reflection, and reinforcement of core values across DIC APAC. From India to Australia and New Zealand, teams came together to celebrate safety, culture, and long-standing dedication. Below were the initiatives held in DIC IDEAL and DIC ANZ in March 2025.

1) DIC IDEAL Supa Marks 54th National Safety Week with Series of Activities

From 4 to 10 March 2025, DIC IDEAL Pvt. Ltd. at SUPA observed the 54th National Safety Week with several activities aimed at reinforcing workplace safety practices. The event began with a Safety Flag hoisting, followed by a wet drill competition and a safety poster competition to engage employees in hands-on learning.

Winners of the competitions were awarded by the Managing Director of DIC South Asia.

Additionally, as a recognition of their efforts, DIC IDEAL SUPA received the award for the “Largest Industrial Safety Awareness Event.”

2)DIC ANZ Celebrates Employee Achievements & Harmony Day

Celebrating 25 Years of Service: Aaron Martin Honored for His Dedication

On 14 March 2025, the DIC ANZ team in Christchurch gathered over lunch to celebrate a remarkable career milestone—25 years of service by Aaron Martin. Aaron began his journey with DIC in 2000 at the former St David’s Street branch in Christchurch, starting as a general helper during the Coates era. Over the years, he steadily advanced through multiple roles—including Inplant Technician, Supervisor, and currently, South Island Technical Manager.

Known for his good nature, approachability, and deep industry knowledge, Aaron is well-respected by both colleagues and customers alike.

DIC ANZ Celebrates Harmony Day & Recognition of KAIZEN Efforts

On 21 March 2025, DIC ANZ joined the nationwide celebration of Harmony Day—Australia’s annual observance promoting cultural diversity. Held at the Moorabbin site, the team gathered for a casual lunch featuring a variety of traditional dishes brought in by employees, embracing the multicultural spirit of the day.

Employees who demonstrated outstanding efforts in recent KAIZEN initiatives were recognized – where ongoing improvement has become embedded in daily operations.
