DIC Astra Chemicals Becomes First PRC Manufacturer in Indonesia

In April 2025, PT. DIC Astra Chemicals (DAC) reached a major sustainability milestone by becoming the first Pigment Resin Color (PRC) manufacturer in Indonesia to achieve the OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT Level 3 certification.

The certification ensures that DAC’s products are free of harmful substances, making them both export-ready and trusted by international markets.

What is OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT?

OEKO-TEX® is an internationally renowned system for testing and certifying textiles and chemicals for harmful substances. The ECO PASSPORT Certification specifically evaluates chemical inputs used in the production process, confirming they are safe for human use and environmentally friendly.

Level 3, the highest level of this certification, indicates not only compliance but complete transparency, third-party verification, and production aligned with sustainable practices. This means DAC’s products are proven safe, sustainable, and market-ready, even for sensitive applications like infant apparel.
