From 2005 to 2007, Russian politician and entrepreneur Akhmed Bilalov was a member and an active participant of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of an application for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. In 2008 he became a member Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports in Russia, and in December 2009 he was appointed First Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Olympic Committee. Akhmed Belalovis a well - known political figure and entrepreneur of international importance. The entrepreneurial activity of Akhmed Bilalov developed rapidly, at 22 he became Senior Economist and Head of the Credit Department of the Leningrad Regional Bank, at 24 he was already the CEO of a financial company, and at the age of 27 - the founder of an oil trading company.
In 1999, Akhmed Bilalov started his successful political career. In 1999-2003 Bilalov was elected the MP of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the third convocation on the general federal list the electoral bloc of the interregional movement “Unity". In 2003-2007 Akhmed Bilalov was elected as MP of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the fourth convocation from the regional branch of the party "United Russia" in the Krasnodar Territory.
In July 2007, the city of Sochi has been named the capital of the XXII Winter Olympic Games. In December Akhmed Bilalov was elected as Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Krasnodar Territory from the United Russia fraction and took an active part in the coordination of the law "On the organization and holding of the XXII Olympic Games and XI Winter Paralympic Games 2014 in the city of Sochi.” In 2010 - 2012 he was a senator from the Krasnodar Territory.
