My current cover has started soaking up rain and condensation, the insulation seems compromised, and it’s just not pulling its weight anymore.
What I’m trying to figure out is what features really matter when trying to find a cover that truly keeps water out — beyond the usual vinyl shell. Should I be focusing on things like seam construction, drainage channels, or reinforced outer fabrics for waterproofing? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s replaced their swim-spa cover: what did you go with, how has it performed in heavy use or heavy rain, and what would you do differently now?
