It is very easy to set up Telstra emails on your phone or tablet, enhancing your ability to check email while on the go. First, find the email app on your device, such as the default Mail app on Apple devices or Gmail on Android devices. Add a new account and choose "Other" or "IMAP/POP" if you do not see Telstra among the predefined email services. Enter the Telstra email and password in the corresponding fields and click the “Next†button. After that, it will be necessary to fill in the server settings manually.
For incoming mail, the settings are: IMAP server - imap.telstra.com; port 993; SSL on. For POP, the server is pop.telstra.com and port 995 with SSL on. For outgoing mail, use the SMTP server smtp.telstra.com on port 465 with SSL on. The username must be the full email address, and the password must match that username. After you have entered these details, your email application should interface with the Telstra account, allowing you to send and receive emails. If you have any questions regarding the setup, you can contact Telstra for assistance or refer to their instructional guide on the web.
