History of the Cave of Thawr in Islam
The Cave of Thawr is one of the sacred destinations in Islam. This cave is outside of Mecca, the holiest city in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took refuge in this cave from the Meccan pagans when he migrated from Mecca to Medina.
