Delhi to Khajuraho Road Trip

Khajuraho is located in Madhya Pradesh. This city has various temples dedicated to the Hindu and Jain Deities. These temples were built between 950 and 1050 AD. There were used to have 85 temples but now only around 20 to 22 left because most of the temples were destroyed by the inavders over the century. Khajuraho is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some of the famous temples in Khajuraho are Kandariya Mahadev Temple, the Lakshmana Temple and the Vishwanath Temple.

The best route is via the Yamuna Expressway and NH44 which offers a smooth highways and plenty of food and fuel stops. Delhi to Khajuraho Distance takes around 12 to 14 hours to reach depending on the various factors such as traffic, road condition and weather condition.

After traveling to Khajuraho, you will come across its carved temples which give stories of love, spirituality and daily life. The Sound and Light Show at the Western Group of Temples which held in the evening.
