2K22 brings back its tried-and-true
NBA 2K22 MT Buy shot meter following the year's drastic change to the polarization of the game and I'm feeling like I'm taking more open shots at the beginning of my character's development than previously. It feels awful not to have the experience of an NBA player and to be making a mess of jumping all the time, but I feel like even players with lower ratings can help this time around.
I think they've found something they should lean into. I'd love to see them embrace the idea instead of giving us all these unnecessary sides-missions and sponsorships that are available in MyCareer. So, why is State Farm in this game? Am I buying insurance? What's more, why does MyPlayer seem more excited about rapping than basketball?
Those things are fine on occasion, but that's not the State Farm problem. It's just bizarre. However, rapping, fashion, sneaker endorsements , and all other things perform in spots. The game ought to be a bit less about these things and more about the incredible basketball game we're playing.
Yeah It's absolutely true Mike. Everything in 2K22 that isn't actually in-game action merely distracts from what the game is best at. Since I don't care about balling on the streets of The City at all, I'd go as far to declare that I'd like it having two modes completely. This wouldn't be the best business decision, but it's unlikely to ever happen.
