CAT does not carries any predefined syllabus, however past records suggests that CAT tests your general aptitude and intelligence, integrated there are three sections:
Quantitative Ability (QA, 34 questions) (Mathematics)
Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR, 32 questions) (Logical)
Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VRC, 34 questions) (English)
The duration of the exam is 180 minutes and the distribution of time is as follows:
Quantitative Ability (60 minutes).
Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (60 minutes).
Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (60 minutes).
Online CAT Test carries three sections of question paper. The above three topics of the CAT syllabus are divided into 3 sections of the CAT Exam with the sectional cut off as follows:
SECTION I: Quantitative Analysis
SECTION II: Data interpretation & Logical Reasoning
SECTION III: Verbal Ability
Each section above carries a sectional cutoff of 80percentile and the overall percentile of 90.

CAT Maths/Quant Ability: Number systems, geometry, trigonometry, probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc.
CAT Data Interpretation: Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), Venn diagram, etc.
CAT Logical Reasoning: Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence, assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc.
