Is Prince Harry's lawsuit against NGN settled?

  • I understand that News Group Newspapers has officially apologized to Prince Harry for their actions in the past. I read that they paid him an eight-figure settlement, but the exact amount is not disclosed, so it could just be a rumor. I read on https://getcelebrity.com/ that Prince Harry and News Group Newspapers have reached an agreement. However, actor Hugh Grant has called for a deeper investigation into tabloid practices, as he also sued the media for illegally tapping his phones. Elton John, who was a close friend of Princess Diana, was a plaintiff in the case along with Prince Harry. I thought everybody already knew that :) I haven't seen any news about Prince William's reaction, but I did see that Princess Diana's brother, Charles Spencer, wrote on social network X that their mother would be proud of Harry.

  • I follow the British royal family closely and believe that Prince Harry did the right thing in defending his mother's name by filing a lawsuit against News Group Newspapers for invasion of privacy, illegal surveillance and hacking of Princess Diana's phone. Has this issue finally been resolved in court? And one more thing - I don't understand how Elton John is involved in this case. Have other members of the royal family, such as his brother William, Prince of Wales, commented on this?
