How to tell if hair bundles are truly virgin?

  • Virgin hair is in high demand in the beauty world since it is untreated, top-quality, and lasts long. But, many sellers wrongly call their hair virgin. To make sure you get true virgin hair, check these main points:

    • No Chemicals: Real virgin hair bundles has no chemical treatments. If the hair looks too shiny, feels too silky, or smells strong and odd, it could have been coated with silicones. Wash a small part with clarifying shampoo to test. If the feeling changes a lot, it might not be a virgin.
    • Aligned Cuticles: Virgin hair has its cuticles all going the same way. This stops tangling and keeps it smooth. Rub your fingers up and down the strand softly. If it feels rough in one way, the cuticles are likely still right.
    • Natural Color: Virgin hair should show a natural, slightly mixed tone, never a single color. If all strands look the same shade, they could have been dyed.
    • Burn Test: Set a tiny bit of hair on fire. The hair of a true virgin will turn to ash and smell like burning human hair. Fake or processed hair will leave a sticky mess and smell like burnt plastic.
    • How It Handles Styling: Virgin hair should last long and handle heat well like your natural hair. If it gets very dry or stiff after using a flat iron or curling iron, it may not be true virgin hair.
By keeping these points in mind, you can be sure if the hair you buy is really virgin or not.
