Electric bicycles are a million times better than manual bikes. Manual bikes require you to use your own energy to get the bike moving and take hours out of your day if you live in a hilly area. Electric bikes work like regular bikes, but they also have a motor that uses electricity and replaces your physical effort with varying amounts of power.

The electric motor provides as much power as you want, and the amount of work it takes to move you along is proportional to how hard you pedal. Electric bike technology has greatly improved over the years. The batteries have gotten better and longer lasting, there are a variety of electric bike styles for every rider preference out there, and the prices have come down.

However, electric bikes are still relatively expensive. As more manufacturers develop less costly versions of the technology, they will enter the mainstream and drive prices down even further. Electric bikes are safer than manual bikes because you are still protected by all safety measures while riding them. These include helmets, brakes, lights at night, reflectors during the day, reflective clothing.
