Recently, a friend of mine went to inspect a person's half finished deck and the quality of the build was not up to standard. He was asked to quote on finishing the job as well as do a few extra things. The challenge though was that he had to undo a lot of the poor workmanship of the previous deck builder and still had to charge for his time, labour and skill. This is a situation that often happens so I always advise people not to go with the cheapest deck service available as it may cost you more in the long run.
