Oakland passed on Iloka for whatever reason (probably money, since he’s been a fit in Paul Guenther’s scheme before) and instead signed former Giants safety Curtis Riley.Financial details are not yet known, but one imagines Iloka will earn a good bit more than Riley will this year.
