  There are just a few multiplayer series quite as cherished as Diablo. And, unfortunately, few MMOs have dated quite as poorly as Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. After the remaster Diablo II: Resurrected was recently announced, I was amazed to hear that anybody would continue to be interested in playing it. After all, Diablo IV is on the way, and, well, Diablo III exists. But I'm not alone in wanting to go back to a simpler time in the collection. Thanks to the company's preservation of this source code, an almost carbon-copy of Diablo 2 Resurrected Items the experience can be achieved. However there are a few things they should incorporate from the present generation of games, small tweaks that improve but do not substantially change Diablo II at its heart. Here are five things that would polish the gameplay whilst maintaining the integrity of the game's unique texture.
  
  This is a rather obvious request from the older school Diablo II participant: an increased stock space. The limited space of this player's individual and back area, plus the very small bit afforded by the Horadric cube, is just not sufficient to enjoy the full breadth of this Diablo II experience. While loot lack and small inventory slots add value and rarity to the game's enormous treasure system, I really could do with a bit more back space--not the player inventory, because that feels like cheating, but at least what the player can stash back in the camp. It would make set collecting a far more tempting prospect.
  
  This petition may be a bit controversial if you're the kind of person that likes to suffer and requires that badge of honor very seriously. It's a shame that for all the years that I played Diablo II in pursuit of good loot, I seldom got to see the very best of what the game had to offer, despite how much time I poured into it. There are many powerful and fascinating Rune words, by way of example, that I never came close to viewing because there was no chance I would ever obtain, sayan Amn rune in my life.
