The monetization method isn't ideal, but it doesn't alter the game significantly in the higher levels. It doesn't matter whether the shop exists or not whales will still buy from goldsellers. Especially when it's so much more affordable to do it. Kinah is a great aid by supplying manastones/enchants to endgame gear However, you don't have to make it happen in a hurry. The game is well worth playing If you enjoy grinding and play tab-based mmorpgs and are interested in an experience that is centered around the concept of pvp.
This is a great opportunity to begin as the current patch contains very only a few items. However, the next patch will feature a pvp instance and an armor quest set for the endgame.
I get 20,000 EXP for each mob I kill but I'm getting only 400K for the quest. About half of the 2M EXP that I gain from the quest is really from killing the mobs. 200K/2M (10 10%) isn't too noticeable. I've only lost 20M experience if i complete 100 quests, which isn't even a quarter of the amount needed to move from 49 to 50.
The game is extremely playable from late 30s through 40s. There's little distinction between blue and white gear, until the point at which they become a bit more distinct. Because everyone is at the moment leveling up and gearing it's hard to discern the difference between 10 stats on an item.
The other aspect is that for now all the dungeons currently available can be completed in less than one hour. So if your (gold) loot appears, you can actually get it, but longer dungeons that will appear in the future make you pay for the subscription if you are looking for "the top" equipment.
Meeeeh I'm thinking that AION doesn't make a good game for new players. It's a bit grindy, and people who are familiar in the game will be familiar with all the mechanics and systems. This makes them very skilled. It's also an almost 100% pvp game It's just not enjoyable being completely destroyed.
My mistake, I said "i don't know anything about Aion Classic". I was refering to its commercialization. Ive played Aion in 2009 and also two years ago on a P server. My question was about how does
euro aion classic buy kinah someone who pays 15 EUR a month get severly disadvantaged in comparison to someone who is paying a lot more? What's the amount of P2Win lol?
