Starting on PS5 game titles NBA 2K23 was the
FUT 23 Coins most-downloaded game on the PSN for September on North America, while FIFA 23 was the top game in Europe (which should come as no surprise given the popularity of football is in the region). Another game released in September, The Last of Us Part 1 came in third place in both regions.
Making the switch from PS4, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game of the month across the US and Canada and Canada, while FIFA 23 took the top position in Europe. As for PSVR games, Beat Saber was the No. number one game in both North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR being ranked second and third in both regions.
In terms of free-to-play games, covering PS5 and PS4 all together, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada in addition to Rumbleverse was the most-played free-to-play game in Europe.

Sony has ambitious plans for the next generation of hardware for virtual reality with plans for 2 million devices of its PSVR 2 headset ready by the month of March.
Production of the virtual reality headset reportedly began in September (via Bloomberg) and has been able to overcome supply chain constraints. With the PS5 still in high demand due to its limited supply after its release in November 2020, Sony also plans to increase the number of consoles on shelves by the beginning of 2023, according to Bloomberg's sources.
PSVR 2 has yet receive a date beyond 2023, but Sony is trying to make sure
cheap FIFA 23 Coins that it has enough PS5 consoles that can play games on the new headset. The hardware is only compatible on PS5 and won't be backwards compatible with PSVR games.
